Get to know me…
I’ve spent my career working in environments where accuracy matters, systems are messy, and the cost of getting information wrong is real.
Before I ever worked in SEO or digital publishing, I managed an automotive repair shop. I learned how technical systems fail, how documentation gaps create risk, and how decisions made upstream affect people downstream. That experience still shapes how I write today, especially in automotive, infrastructure, and other regulated or safety-critical spaces.
Earlier in my career, I also worked as a STEM educator, designing instructional material for real learners with different abilities, attention spans, and constraints. Teaching reinforced something I’d already learned on the shop floor: clarity isn’t about simplifying ideas, it’s about structuring information so people can use it correctly.
That foundation eventually carried me into digital publishing and SEO.
Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked as a staff writer, SEO copywriter, senior SEO writer, and content strategist across automotive, SaaS, education, media, and compliance-sensitive industries. I’ve written high-volume editorial content for large publishers, optimized enterprise content libraries, built search-driven explainers for technical products, and remediated hundreds of pages for FTC disclosure and accessibility compliance.
At Publishing.com, I helped modernize and bring into full FTC compliance a large legacy content library while preserving existing search performance. At Dealer Inspire and Endgame360 (MotorBiscuit), I worked inside fast-moving automotive ecosystems, producing and optimizing content tied directly to lead generation, engagement, and revenue outcomes. In freelance and contract roles, I’ve supported SaaS companies, agencies, and publishers with long-form SEO content, technical documentation, landing pages, case studies, and editorial features.
What connects all of this work isn’t a single industry, it’s the type of problems I solve.
I specialize in writing where regulation, technical complexity, and real-world consequences intersect. That includes:
SEO content that must perform and remain compliant
Technical and instructional writing that people actually rely on
Automotive and infrastructure content informed by hands-on experience
Legal and regulatory explainers written for non-lawyers
Accessibility-aware content built to last
I’m comfortable working as an individual contributor in SEO, editorial, or technical writing roles. I’m equally comfortable collaborating with editors, legal teams, product managers, and subject-matter experts to get details right and keep projects moving.
This site includes a mix of published work and representative samples. Some pieces were written for clients or publications; others were created to demonstrate specific deliverables that hiring teams and editors regularly need from SEO explainers to compliance-aware marketing copy to technical documentation.
If you’re looking for a writer who understands how systems work, how they break, and how people actually use information, you’re in the right place.
